BIG CHICKEN Playtest at Victory Pints

On Wed, March 13 we'll be running two FREE public playtest sessions for the work-in-progress card game BIG CHICKEN at Victory Pints, in Maineville.

First session starts at 6:00pm
Second session starts at 7:45pm.
(Each session can have maximum of 6 players, and will be approximately 1 hour in length.)

You MUST have tickets to participate, but they're FREE! These free tickets (to hold your reservation at the table) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If both sessions sell out quickly, we may considering adding additional sessions, running concurrently.

BIG CHICKEN is a dynamic and fiercely competitive card game designed for 3 to 6 players, that requires an adaptive strategy as the game unfolds. While luck determines the cards you receive, victory hinges on cunning and planning. Get ready for intense gameplay, spirited banter, and a lot of fun!

PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNERS OF EACH GAME!

Folks with an understanding of trump-based trick-taking games, card-shedding games, and/or poker will pick it up fast. Otherwise it is a medium-complexity game.  If you've played any of the following card games -- Big Two, Gang of Four™, Crazy Eights, Uno™, Tycoon, President, Hearts, Spades, or Poker -- you'll already be familiar with some of the mechanics of this game.

(The game has already been privately playtested extensively -- so we know YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE FUN! This playtest is meant to confirm the viability of our balancing mechanics for different player counts, and solidify some of our recent rule enhancements. But we're also looking for additional feedback and stress testing of our ruleset, ahead of our move from the prototype stage to the beginnings of the publishing stage.)
