BDD MDW 2026 Open Studios: Nutromics
Description
This Melbourne Design Week, Brunswick based medical manufacturer, Nutromics, is inviting the public to learn and experience the design and development of a cutting-edge technology.
Visitors will have the chance attend talks led by members of the studios' Engineering and Science teams and see the groundbreaking work they have undertaken in wearable DNA-sensor technology.
The engineering-based discussion sessions will focus on ergonomic product design for medical wearables and feature an expert talk on designing for user experience.
The science interactive discussion sessions will feature an expert talk on the operation and design of DNA sensors.
Accessibility: Accessible entry, lift onsite, accessible gender-neutral toilets, seating available, mobility aids welcome, mostly natural light, quiet sound, small groups, low sensory room can be made available if required, assistance animals welcome, accessible parking on street.
This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2026, an initiative of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria
The Brunswick Design District (BDD) is a creative precinct supporting businesses, start-ups, designers, artists, makers, musicians, venues, and world-class education.
