The presentation will utilise modelling established by the Victorian Skills Authority, complemented by insights gathered from over 100 businesses operating in the Loddon Campaspe region, to dissect the composition of the 11,000 new workers required across the region over the next three years. Specifically, Martin will delve into how innovations in the clean and circular economy, along with the continued growth in digital applications across every industry sector, are intensifying the demand for higher-order skills. The speed of change will require ever-greater collaboration between industry, education, and government to ensure that Greater Bendigo and its surrounding areas can fully capitalise on the numerous opportunities presented by our evolving economy.
