Event description
In this no-cost deep-dive full-day training, you will get some of the latest scientific insights into ways to improve your mental health and wellbeing. You will explore a variety of mental health topics, including stress management, countering thinking traps, exploring meaning and purpose, mindfulness, and much more.
You will access a wellbeing assessment providing confidential insights into six key areas: wellbeing, resilience, anxiety, stress, mood, and health. Based on your results, you'll create a personalised plan to develop ongoing wellbeing habits and integrate activities into your work routine. You will receive a printed workbook summarising the session and practical activities, an evidence-based activity bank with over 30 wellbeing practices, and a participation certificate.
This training will be held in person in Adelaide and includes free refreshments and lunch.Â
In this workshop, we will explore:
- Foundational knowledge about mental health, wellbeing and resilience
- Your personal wellbeing drivers and discover and how this can benefit you personally and professionally
- The way stress impacts our body and will identify typical stress responses you want to look out for
- The negativity bias and how to overcome it and think more optimistically
- A range of practical activities aimed at improving wellbeing resources or reducing challenges.
- The relevance of tailoring these activities to your own unique needs and what may promote or stand in the way of implementing them into your daily routine
- The importance of habit formation and some tips and trick to help you build or strengthen you existing wellbeing habits.
