You think what a special, rare moment…then you turn around. Behind you is one of New Jersey’s largest colonies of nesting shorebirds. Black Skimmers, Least and Common Terns, and American Oystercatchers all in one place, breeding on one of the most popular beaches in the state. They’re here to stay - this is their beach.
