    Event description

In 2024, Mental Health remains a critical issue.
In New Zealand alone approximately one in five adults are affected by Mental Health challenges, with conditions like anxiety and depression being prevalent. The need for Mental Health services has been increasing, with a growing number of people seeking help.

In support of Mental Health Awareness Week, join us in community for this early morning session, as we welcome in the day with Cacao, Breathwork and Sauna to observe this timely kaupapa.

Come along, bring whanau or a friend or anyone you think would benefit from this space and be prepared to nourish your Wellbeing.

With powerful intentions and an open heart, allow us to guide you on a gentle journey while adding valuable tools to your Wellbeing kete.

Fi Clements from Ka kā wā Confectionery will open the session with Karakia and Cacao leading into your morning Breathwork Practice with Tee Manunui from Transformation with Tee, before Hot/Cold therapy with Jossi Lilburne and his team from Oranga Saunas.

We will be speaking into MHAW along with other friends also working in the Wellbeing space, sharing what they have available.

Our message of this kaupapa for MHAW:  "it''s ok to not be ok and you are never alone".

We want to create awareness of the Wellbeing resources, spaces and community, that are available to all of us and to remind anyone struggling or facing challenging times, that they don't have to do it alone.

Fostering encouragement to nurture our Wellbeing through empowering each other to prioritise self-care and exploring new resources, spaces and/or community that are available.

As a Community we can cultivate encouragement by changing the narrative and normalising having conversations around Mental Health ultimately dismantling outdated stigmas that create barriers for those needing support.

All proceeds for these sessions go to the Mental Health Foundation.
