Take a journey through your whole self — moving, feeling, exploring and expressing as the music guides you.

Embodied Freedance is an invitation to let go of choreography, expectations and the need to get it “right” — and simply move.

This is more than simply dancing. It’s an embodied experience where you’re invited to explore different rhythms, energies and qualities of movement — from grounding and gentle, to energising, playful, expressive and free.

There are no steps to learn and no experience needed. You can move slowly, energetically, intuitively or playfully. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, and no pressure to perform.

We spend so much of our lives in our heads — thinking, planning, working and getting things done. Freedance offers an opportunity to shift out of the mental noise and reconnect with your body.

Your Freedance Journey

Each session takes you on a journey through your whole self.

We begin with gentle, guided movement to arrive in your body and connect with your breath, sensation and the space around you.

As the music builds, so does the movement. You’ll be invited to explore different rhythms, energies and ways of moving — awakening the body, freeing up energy and allowing your own expression to emerge.

From there, you’ll have space to move more freely and follow what feels right for you. You might feel playful, powerful, sensual, expansive, joyful or simply curious. Every experience is different.

We then gradually bring the energy down, creating space to slow, settle and reconnect before finishing.

Come As You Are

You don’t need to be a dancer.

You don’t need to know what you’re going to do.

You don’t need to look a certain way or move a certain way.

Just come as you are and allow yourself to explore.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. We dance barefoot, although you can wear whatever feels comfortable for you.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, stressed, energised, curious or simply ready to try something different, Freedance is a chance to step away from the outside world for a while and give yourself the space to move, feel and reconnect.
