Thank you for registering for our Maroochy River Mouth Beach Clean Up, we’re thrilled to have you joining us!

Over the course of 2026, ECOllaboration, in partnership with Ten Little Pieces, is hosting a series of clean-up events to help protect one of the Sunshine Coast’s most important and heavily used coastal areas. The Maroochy River Mouth supports diverse aquatic ecosystems, holds cultural significance, and plays an important role in recreation and water quality.

Your participation will directly help remove harmful litter from our waterways and contribute to real scientific data. We will be recording the types and quantities of rubbish collected, which will be submitted to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative to help inform strategies that prevent litter entering our waterways in the future.

📅 Sunday 26 April 2026
🕢 7:30 am – 9:00 am

All rubbish collection and safety equipment will be provided. After the clean-up, please stay and enjoy a free morning tea with us.

What to bring:
• Sun smart clothing (lightweight long sleeves and pants recommended)
• Hat and sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Enclosed shoes
• Water bottle

Cold drinks will also be available.
