Beach Kites - make and fly!

Let’s get creative and ride the winter winds! Families are invited to construct and decorate their own colourful kites, then we take them outside to fly together in a joyful winter celebration. 

While we’re having fun, we will also learn a story-web about the Great Southern Reef and how its kelp forests, seabirds, and marine life are connected. 

Our team makes sure everyone flies safely with clear spaces and easy instructions departing with your kite to fly again another day. The session blends creativity, movement, and curiosity, with families feeling connected to the ocean and inspired to explore and care for this incredible coastal ecosystem.
