We're thrilled to announce our upcoming second-hand market, nestled along the picturesque Coogee Beach. You have the opportunity to be a part of this Bargain Hunt experience by either selling your items or joining us to discover some incredible treasures. Expect to find a wide array of fantastic offerings, from vintage items, artwork, and bric-a-brac to clothing, books, jewellery, seconds, plants, shoes, records, music, badges, cards and much more – you name it!

Whether you're in the mood for a great deal or a classic haggle, Beachside Bargain Hunt is an event not to be missed!

For those unfamiliar, Beachside Bargain Hunt is a mini-scale beachside market with huge rewards. It's designed to encompass everything you'd expect from a market without any of the usual hassle. Imagine packing up a suitcase or two filled to the brim with your second-hand treasures.

You have the opportunity to be a part of the Beachside Bargain Hunt experience, either as a seller or a buyer. However, please note that this event is exclusively for second-hand sellers. Artisans, crafters, and handmade sellers are part of the larger market, featuring different structures and pricing.

We are unable to issue refunds under any circumstances except when the event is cancelled.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Sales at Beachside Bargain Hunt are exclusively permitted from your suitcase only. The use of marquee, fold-out tables, clothing racks, or similar equipment is strictly prohibited. Everything you intend to sell must fit within your suitcase. Should any stall holders be found setting up such items, they will be kindly asked to dismantle them. Our core concept revolves around selling out of suitcases, so it is essential that your merchandise is appropriately packed in a suitcase. Please refrain from arriving with your items in canvas bags, boxes, plastic containers, and the like. Not only do we aim to maintain the aesthetic of Beachside Bargain Hunt, but it is also not designed to be a conventional, full-scale market.
2. Arrivals and Departures at Beachside Bargain Hunt: All Beachside Bargain Hunt Holders must have their names checked off by Beachside Bargain Hunt organisers. Check-in will commence at 8 am on December 3, 2023. We understand that some participants may be traveling a considerable distance, and unforeseen circumstances can arise. In such cases, please contact us using the provided contact details (we will email you after registration) to inform us if you anticipate running late. Punctuality is crucial as we aim to start Beachside Bargain Hunt on time, as advertised. Additionally, no Beachside Bargain Hunt holders are permitted to begin packing up before 3pm the officially advertised closing time of the event. It would not be fair to attendees if they arrive at 2:30 pm, and half the market has already been packed up. This also means potentially missing out on sales opportunities!
3. The principles of Beachside Bargain Hunt: We are strong promoters of second-hand and recycled goods of all kinds. Therefore, if your products are mass-produced or intended for commercial gain, Beachside Bargain Hunt may not be the appropriate venue for you. In such cases, we may request that you pack up your suitcase if your offerings do not align with our values.
4. Safekeeping at Beachside Bargain Hunt: It is your responsibility to keep your money, merchandise, and personal belongings safe. We advise you to keep any valuables with you at all times.
5. Safety at Beachside Bargain Hunt: Please prioritise your own safety when transporting your equipment and don't hesitate to seek assistance if needed. When handling heavy equipment, such as your suitcases. Beachside Bargain Hunt organisers cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from improper handling of equipment.
6. Beachside Bargain Hunt is an outdoor market and event. Individuals are responsible for providing appropriate sun protection, such as hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, and water. We will not accept responsibility for any weather-related issues, including but not limited to cancellations, product damage, or injuries.
7. Prohibited Items at Beachside Bargain Hunt: For the safety and well-being of all attendees, it is important to note that no dangerous or electrical goods, as well as no chemical or broken items, will be permitted for sale at the Beachside Bargain Hunt market. We prioritise the safety of our visitors and the integrity of our event, so please refrain from offering such items for sale. Any non-compliance with this rule may result in the removal of the offending items from your stall.
8. NO Refund policy at Beachside Bargain Hunt: Beachside Bargain Hunt holder fees are non-refundable, and we do not offer transfers of stall fees to other months or events. The only circumstance in which we will provide a refund is if the event is cancelled by Randwick City Council. If you do not agree with this policy, we urge you to carefully consider your online ticket purchase.
9. Waste at Beachside Bargain Hunt: Take all of your take your rubbish with you when you depart. Please dispose of any waste and rubbish appropriately and remember to recycle items that can be recycled. If you have items you no longer wish to keep, such as clothing or books, consider donating them to a local charity or op shop at the end of the market.
