Welcome to a new era - Wild Learning now hosts fabulous Paint & Sip style Art Workshops @ Qirkz in the Hunter!
The event: Beaded Jewellery Bar
Experience the creative bliss of an evening spent choosing beads from a bar set up with bowls full of coloured glass beads to explore and discover at your own pace, and relaxing and chatting to friends while you thread them onto elastic or wire to make personalised jewellery.
- Make as many stretch bracelets as you like in your choice of colours - it's easy to learn, no special skills required so it's addictively satisfying to make beautiful things you'll love wearing!
- There is the option to learn to make your own drop earrings or key ring/phone loops
This is craft and sip the Wild Learning way: Our step by step process makes crafting fun and you get to create something totally personalised.
There is plenty of instruction and support so you know how to make your jewellery, and lots of freedom to be creative, relax and make things at your own speed while you chat to friends or visit the bar / enjoy a meal
Qirkz in the Hunter is a licenced venue with a fabulous bar - so you can purchase wine, beer, cider, spirits and cocktails, soft drink or amazing coffee and delicious pizzas to enjoy during your crafting session - come early or stay late to make it a fabulous night out!
Your teaching artist: Emmie, owner of Wild Learning
Emmie has managed to combine a deep love of art, sewing, singing, flamingos and all things gold into a career as an artist, community arts worker and owner of creative studio Wild Learning. Her teaching style is big on generating creative energy and helping people find their own unique art experience. With a focus on a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, absolute beginners and experienced creatives find Emmie's classes like a soft place to land in a world that sometimes feels too spikey.
