Join us for one of the best fall adventures of the season — a scenic hike to one of New York’s most stunning waterfalls, followed by an afternoon of beers, brats, and Bavarian vibes at Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest!

We’ll kick things off with a moderate hike along the Kaaterskill Rail Trail to Kaaterskill Falls — a 3.7-mile out-and-back featuring lush forest paths, crisp mountain air, and the breathtaking two-tiered Kaaterskill Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in New York State. After soaking in the views (and snapping plenty of photos), we’ll head straight to Hunter Mountain for Oktoberfest — where live music, hearty food, and festive brews await.

EVENT TIMELINE:

📍 10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten (Meatpacking)
🚌 10:30 AM – Depart NYC
🥾 12:30 PM – Arrive at trailhead and begin hike
⛰ 2:15 PM – Snack + photo break at Kaaterskill Falls
🎉 3:30 PM – Arrive at Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest
🚌 6:00 PM – Depart back to NYC
