Bea's Send-Off - Running Out of Time
Event description
Conservation SA invites you to celebrate Bea’s Bon Voyage at The Joinery!
This spring, environmentalist Beatrice Jeavons will take on an epic challenge: riding and running 1,110 km along South Australia’s Heysen and Mawson Trails to raise funds for Conservation SA. Before she sets off, we’re throwing her a special farewell event – and you’re invited!
🌿 Hear from Bea and our other amazing speakers - Bea will share her inspiring journey ahead, and hear from Conservation SA CEO Kirsty Bevan on the insipring work we are doing for nature in SA. We're also lucky enough to have Holly Marquis, a passionate advocate for protecting native forests and wild places—especially takayna/Tarkine—has raised over $30k for the Bob Brown Foundation by hiking 1,200km on the Heysen Trail at age 21, and continues to champion the protection of NW lutruwita/Tasmania’s forests and native forests across Australia through fundraising, community connection, awareness-raising, and her local work to improve biodiversity and drive positive environmental change on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
