Attention Sydney dancers – it’s time to bring your A-game!

Beat Breakdown is back with a brand new season of 1v1 dance battles, featuring a mix of styles and some serious talent, all happening on the Darling Harbour dance floor from March 6 to April 3.

Whether you’re a master at breaking, popping, dancehall, or waacking, this is your chance to showcase your skills, win incredible prizes and impress the crowd.

What to expect: Beat Breakdown is an open battle format with up to 32 spots available each week. Signing up to compete is totally free as well as coming along to watch. Grab your crew and bring your best moves - we've got you covered.

Dance styles: Every week in March will feature a different style. This night we are lucky to have two dance iconic styles, Litefeet & Dancehall. The top two performers from each category will move on to the final Beat Breakdown to take their shot at the All Star Battle on April 3.

Special guests include legendary judges Allef Reis (Dancehall) and Kenny (Lite Feet) in collaboration with local legends, DanceKool – the pioneering street dance studio.
