Meet DJ SPELL, a DJ and producer from Aotearoa, New Zealand.
He is a NZ Thre3style Champion, NZ IDA Champion, and DMC World Champion. SPELL has shared the stage with Hip Hop legends like Mos Def, KRS-One, MF DOOM, and De La Soul.
As a producer, he’s gained global recognition — winning Kenny Beats’ beat battle and catching the attention of Questlove. Known for his high-energy, genre-spanning sets and raw creativity, SPELL continues to prove he's the real deal behind the decks and on the pads.
During the pandemic, Spell shifted his focus to using Twitch to broadcast his beat making sessions, and amassed more than 40,000 followers. Now that he’s got a steady income, beat making has now turned into his full-time job and seen his artistry continue to flourish.
