Event description

Take a trip down historic Beaufort Street and come along to a presentation by the Mount Lawley Society where you will learn about local ANZACs who lived in the Inglewood/Mount Lawley area. The presentation will include details about the lives of these soldiers and their respective families, followed by a morning tea.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along a photo of a relative who lived in the Inglewood/Mount Lawley area and who served during WWI, or other photos of the Inglewood/Mount Lawley area taken during this period.

The Mount Lawley Society was founded in 1977, with the aim of protecting the heritage, and researching and promoting the people, places, and events in the history of Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Menora.

Date: Monday 22 April 2024

Time: 10.00am – 11.30am; morning tea will be served from 11.00am

Venue: Stirling Libraries - Inglewood, 895 Beaufort Street, Inglewood WA 6052

Free event; bookings are essential as places are limited. 

Stirling Libraries - Inglewood is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available in the library carpark.
