Event description

Travelling down the east coast on their first tour, Poetic Chaos will be playing at Can You Keep A Secret? on the 30th of September 2023.

Their debut album “beautiful ‘till it hurts” touches on inner struggles and wanting to learn who you are. Breaking down barriers that we build overtime to become “stronger” when in reality, they just separate us from our true inner selves. The album has a good combination of upbeat and slow music. Poetic Chaos draws the audience in and lets them into the world. While singing their music, it's one of the only times that they allow themselves to become vulnerable and let that barrier down.

Poetic Chaos will be playing alongside indie singer-songwriter Azizah and pop sensation Millie Atlas - having met them back in 2018 and now joining forces to put on a heartfelt event full of original songs and powerful storytelling.

Poetic Chaos

Coming from completely different backgrounds, Poetic Chaos was created from a place of openness and creativity; in the search for understanding the conflicting feelings that come with being in your 20’s and not knowing what's next.

Jade Schuck was born in Australia and crossed paths with Argentinian born Clara Satzke in 2017. In 2019 they began their musical journey writing and producing music together. It wasn't until 2021/2022 that the duo formed Poetic Chaos. Every bit of themselves is portrayed in their poetry. Every ounce of chaos, every bottled-up feeling. Poetic Chaos doesn't hold back when delving into the opposing worlds of their minds and reality. With soft acoustic melodies and hypnotising harmonies, the duo challenges the untouched thoughts and emotions - to let go and return to themselves through music.

AZIZAH

Azizah is a 20 year old singer songwriter born in Indonesia and raised in Cairns. Her music draws inspiration from personal experience to produce music that hopefully trauma dumps only a little.

Millie Atlas

Upcoming act to the Brisbane music scene & making a new name for herself, Millie Atlas is an artist not to be missed. Originally hailing from Far North Queensland & previously under the stage name GEORGIAXBYRNE, Millie Atlas captivates her listeners with her diary-like storytelling as every song encapsulates a relatable situation from her life. Drawing influence from leading acts Maisie Peters & Holly Humberstone, Atlas’s super power is in her writing and how she connects with her audience. With 2023 set to be an empowering year for the artist, Millie Atlas is sure to tug at the heartstrings in more ways than one.
