Beautiful, useful embroidery
Event description
Stitch something special
Join our friendly workshop where you'll discover how to personalise clothes and other fabrics using the magic of embroidery. Embroidered items make beautiful gifts and can become treasured family heirlooms.
Learn simple stitches and techniques to decorate clothing, bags, manchester, and other fabric items. During the session, you can create fun new designs from scratch, replicate a design provided, or embroider over existing patterns on your favourite fabrics, Turn forgotten pieces into unique treasures and express your style with every stitch.
If you have an article of clothing you'd like to embellish, bring it along and our tutor will help you choose the right design and technique to suit. You can embroider on jeans, t-shirts, blouses, shorts, skirts, tea towels, pillowcases and more. Alternatively, you can create a beautiful new artwork on pieces of repurposed fabric provided.
No experience necessary – just bring your creativity and get ready to upcycle.
