Become the Creative Within: For Makers, Artists and Anyone Who’s Ever Said “I’m Not the Creative Type”
Description
Whether you’ve made things your whole life or have never called yourself creative, this afternoon is for you.
Many of us carry a quiet story about our creativity: I’m not the creative type. I’m not good enough. Other people are the real artists. These stories feel like facts, but they’re beliefs, and beliefs can change.
Join textile artist, business owner and creative mindset coach Amanda for a warm, small-group workshop in self-worth, belief and imagination. You’ll question the stories that have held you back, meet the creative part of you that’s been waiting, and leave with a clear next step.
What we’ll do together
Settle in, share your creative story and meet the room
Explore how worth, approval and comparison shape the way we see our own work
Learn how beliefs act as filters, and rewrite one that’s been holding you back
Turn self-criticism and envy into direction with practical exercises you can bring to you daily work.
Step into the Ring of Power, a guided experience to anchor the feeling of being confident, free and creative
Write a letter from your creative self and choose one small action for the week ahead
You’ll take home
Your journal reflections, powerful and practical techniques that can be implemented immediately, and a next step you actually want to take.
This workshop is for you if...
You make things and have lost confidence, momentum or joy in it
You compare yourself to other creatives and come away feeling smaller
You’ve always said “I’m not the creative type” but wonder if that’s really true
You want a supportive, no-pressure space to think differently about yourself
No experience, skill or art supplies needed. Creativity here means how you solve, make, imagine and express, whether that’s through textiles, cooking, gardening, business or anything else.

About Amanda
Amanda is a textile artist, business owner and creative mindset coach. After years of making, selling and teaching, she’s seen that what holds people back is rarely talent. It’s the stories they tell themselves about their worth. She created this workshop to help people at every creative level meet their work, and themselves, with more kindness and confidence.
Some of you make things every day. Some of you walked in thinking you don’t belong here. You all belong here.
