Become Your Own Bliss (B.Y.O.B.) Yoga Retreat
Event description
Sarah Shea invites you to a spectacular weekend full of healing, connection, and growth in this multifaceted yoga retreat. The overarching design of “Be Your Own Bliss” (BYOB!) is simply this - all that you need to find pure joy is within yourself. Easier said than done? True, but the wellness activities throughout each day are meant to help you release what is blocking your inner happiness and guide you towards self-fulfillment.
The sweeping grounds of Stonehedge Gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for your journey. Tucked away from any bustling city life, you lose yourself in all the natural splendor. Participants can walk around the various ponds, enjoy crackling fires in the evenings, and even camp right on the grounds if they wish! Yoga gatherings will be held in the early mornings by the stream and later in the afternoon by the stoic rock sculptures. There will be times when you will be off on your own for meditation and reflection, and you can choose to be anywhere that calls to you at the venue.
Sarah will be joined by a variety of wellness and sound professionals, including a massage therapist to provide their services, a musician who will lead us in an energetic drum circle, and a rhythm expert who has drummed, sang, and played crystal singing bowls for many years. These different activities prepare you for deeper introspection and may open your heart up to change, growth, and the prospect of seeing yourself as your own personal sanctuary.
This is an inclusive weekend where all are welcome, but we ask that you please be 18 or older to participate. Additionally, in order to preserve the sanctity of the space, alcohol and drug use are not permitted at any time during the retreat. Thank you for respecting our wishes and creating a safe place for all!
Do I need to already be practicing yoga to participate?
Not at all! While it might help you to follow along easier if you have gone to yoga classes before, it is not a requirement. Sarah will provide teaching cues for all levels and encourages everyone to do what their bodies allow, not what their minds want to force them to do!
Who is Sarah Shea?
Sarah Shea has been a yoga teacher since 2019. She recently finished a month long yoga training in Mysore, India at Samyak Institute of Yoga & Ayurveda, and she is proud to now be a 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Trained instructor. Introducing people to yoga and educating others about mindfulness are two big reasons she loves to teach. The inner journey during a practice is just as vital as the physical asanas, so she will always include the philosophical foundation of yoga to aid her students in navigating their emotions and understanding their own mental blockages. She teaches all over the Lehigh Valley with classes such as Hot Power Yoga, Intermediate Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. She is grateful for your interest and thanks you for any support you can provide to her first ever yoga retreat!

All ticket prices include 2 nights of camping (bring your own tent for outdoors OR sleep indoors in a shared space with your sleeping bag), 6 (healthy & delicious) vegetarian meals and all program activities for the weekend.
There are also a few canvas bell tents on the property that include comfortable bedding and can be rented for an additional cost. Please contact Tom (tom@stonehedge.us) to learn more about these upgrade options. For those that prefer not to camp, there are also several AirBnB options within a 5-mile radius of Stonehedge.
Tier 1: $225
Tier 2: $275
Tier 3: $300
Please choose the ticket option you can afford. The first option is for those on a tight budget. Only 9 tickets will be offered at this price. Option 2 is what we hope most people who have a steady income can afford to pay and is reflective of the baseline value of this experience. Option 3 is for those who are feeling generous and able to give more. People who purchase the second and third options will be helping make this retreat possible so that we can continue to gather intentionally in the future. There is also an option on the ticket page to leave a donation that will help to support the lower tier. Thank you so much for whatever you can contribute at this time!
