Becoming a Carer for Kids Information Session - Tamworth - June 2024
Event description
Right now 350 homes are needed for children and young people in out-of-home care. If you've ever thought about opening up your home and your heart to a child in need, join us at an information session and make a difference in child’s life.
This event is hosted by My Forever Family NSW and features a representative from the Department of Communities and Justice NSW, plus a carer sharing their real-life experience.
Note: These sessions are tailored to Potential Carers however Authorised Carers may attend if they are accompanying a Potential Carer.
The event will start at 5:30 pm and will be as follows:
- Acknowledgement of Country
- Introduction to My Forever Family NSW
- Introduction to Department of Communities and Justice
- Hear from a local carer about their experience
- Potential carers Q&A with local agencies
The event will conclude at approximately 7:00 pm.
