Providing a home to tamariki and rangatahi in need is both challenging and truly rewarding.

Barnardos celebrates diversity and welcome’s foster carers from all walks of life. Foster carers can be married, partnered or single. They can be working full-time, part time or be a stay-at-home parent. It is necessary to have a spare bedroom for a child in your care to call their own, however it is not necessary to own your own property to be able to foster.
