About your hosts:

Zoe Sweeney (she/her)
Zoe is the SE-ED Program Manager for Eating Disorders Victoria, with lived experience of SE-ED (20+ years). Zoe has a Master of Social Work, and has delivered programs at Melbourne Clinic on Emotional Management, Trauma and PTSD. She is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Temperament Based Therapy with Supports (TBT-S).Zoe is passionate about providing support to those experiencing eating disorders and uses her lived experience to deliver a strengths-based approach to foster meaningful connections. Outside of work, Zoe is an avid gardener and loves nothing more than spending time with family, friends and her beloved dog Bernard.

Gareth Sherring (he/him)
Gareth has been working in various roles under the lived experience workforce umbrella for close to ten years, both in England and Australia. Understanding the complexities and challenges in recovery, Gareth feels privileged to be part of someone else’s journey and hopes that there is some power in being able to share his experiences. Now working for CEED, Gareth has the opportunity to work on projects that are particularly important to him - body image, advocating for those in larger bodies, service improvement - while hopefully being a friendly face for any males who might feel unheard.
