Afternoon - Becoming Anti-Ableist: An opportunity for reflection, dialogue, and action (Coquitlam)
Description
Inclusive Experiences (IX) supports organizations and teams to understand and dismantle ableism, and has delivered impactful workshops to nearly 50 organizations across Canada. Dedicated to amplifying the voices of disabled people, IX uses a non-shaming approach to foster meaningful reflection, dialogue, and action.
Join us for an interactive, practical workshop that helps teams recognize and address ableism in their daily work. Through dynamic storytelling, interactive activities, and group conversations, this workshop will equip you and your team to better recognize and counteract ableism within yourself and your work. By the end of this workshop, you will:
Understand the roots and impacts of ableism.
Be more adept at recognizing ableism.
Explore actionable steps to counteract ableism at work and beyond.
