BADUIZM | BRUNCH LISTENING SESSION & ART EXPERIENCE

30 seats. One album. Art. No phones. Just presence.

The Listening Room by J. Fields™ and Gallery Together come together for an intimate brunch edition inside the Hotel Sorrento Penthouse.

At the center: Erykah Badu’s Baduizm. Heard in full. On vinyl. Start to finish.

Alongside the album, the room will feature the work of Seattle visual artist Jay Fennell, whose current work explores a theme at the heart of the experience: Becoming.

Guests will encounter Jay’s work before the needle drops. Then the phones go away, the room gets quiet, and we listen.

After the final note, guests return to the art. What do you see now that you didn’t see before?

The afternoon closes with guided reflection, bringing the art, the album, and our own experiences into conversation.
