Becoming Red is an original, immersive theatrical music experience that blends live vocals, cinematic storytelling, and emotionally driven performance into a singular, intimate journey of transformation.
At its core, Becoming Red explores the inner life of “Red”—a woman who has spent years silenced by expectation, fear, and self-denial. Through a series of evocative musical moments and abstract narrative sequences, Red begins to confront the parts of herself she has long suppressed. What unfolds is not a linear story, but an emotional descent—and ultimately, a rebirth.
The work lives at the intersection of concert and theater. Live singing is central to the experience, with each musical piece functioning as both narrative and emotional release. The performance is supported by powerful aerial artistry and dance, creating a tone that is at once intimate, haunting, and cinematic.

John Vega
John Vega, also known as Lolo Hartwood, is a Brooklyn-based performance artist. He has collaborated for the past year with Flirty Riot; a cirque and burlesque company based out of Narrowsburg, NY. John wrote Becoming Red in April of 2025 and debuted it on March 21, 2026 at Box of Moonlight, Brooklyn.
Kat Wise
Kat Wise is a professional dancer, aerialist, and model based out of Pennsylvania. She is the co-owner of B. Wise Dance, offering years of industry experience to studios across the U.S.A. to inspire and help advance dancers in their crafts.
Jacqueline Sendgikoski
Jacqueline Sendgikoski is a NYC/NJ aerialist. She is a performer and instructor at Thrive Embodied Arts in New Jersey.
Mina Lopez
Mina Lopez, also known onstage as Ouro, is an aerialist, pole athlete, and dancer based in Northeast Pennsylvania. She is a 3x PSO gold medalist and a multi-apparatus instructor.
Matthew Morgan
Matthew Morgan is an acrobat, aerial straps instructor, and performer based in Brooklyn.
Lacey Madden
Lacey Madden is a singer/song writer, actor, and burlesque performer from NYC.

- Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Digital tickets on your phone are perfectly fine.

Tickets may be available at the door, but we recommend purchasing in advance as seating is limited and show can sell out.

We recommend to arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime to allow for check-in and seating. We have a surprise opening act starting at 7:30pm! You don't want to miss it.
