Skip the socks this year and get Dad something he really wants!

A morning of all things meat, bbq, & beers.

We’ll begin this hands-on class by setting up the bbq (beer in hand) and getting the coals going before demonstrating how to butcher some favourite Kiwi BBQ Classics (like a Boston Butt or Butterflied Lamb Leg). Our team will then take you through some tips and tricks on what to look for when purchasing your next cuts for the grill. Does fat actually equal flavour? How does the age of the animal affect the texture and taste? Is younger always better? Come along to find out! 

From here it's your turn to pick up the knife. Each student will receive a whole lamb leg to de-bone, butterfly, and then marinate under the watchful eye of our qualified butchers.
 
When we’ve finished our cuts, we’ll join around a long table to enjoy a guided tasting of some of Behemoth Brewing's finest beers before sharing a delicious BBQ lunch. 

Take-home perks: Everyone gets to take home their butterflied lamb leg to BBQ at a later date.
