Beer + Bubs: Childbirth Education for Dads (at the Pub)

Expecting? Good news — you don't have to learn about labour, birth, and newborn life sitting in a circle on a hard chair. Grab a pint instead.

Beer + Bubs is a one-night, expert-led session designed for dads and dads-to-be of all backgrounds, cultures, abilities, sexualities, and family structures, held in a relaxed pub setting where it's easy to actually take things in — and maybe make a mate or two who's about to go through the exact same thing. No jargon, no judgement, just practical, real-world guidance on how to support your partner through pregnancy and labour, what to expect on the big day, and how to step confidently into those first newborn weeks.

What makes it different:

A welcoming, inclusive space — every dad is welcome here, exactly as you are
Expert-led, not lecture-style — interactive, practical, and genuinely useful
A proper pub night — enjoy a meal (inlcuded) and a "beer" while you learn
Real talk from real dads — hear from past attendees who've been exactly where you are

As one dad put it, the info he picked up turned out more useful on the actual birth day than anything from his antenatal classes. Another said it was the first time he felt like he could really ask questions and be heard.

Spots are deliberately limited to keep things relaxed and genuinely interactive. Sessions like this have a habit of filling up fast, especially as due dates get closer — so if you're on the way to becoming a dad, it's worth locking in your seat sooner rather than later.

Bring your questions, bring your thirst, leave feeling ready for whatever's coming — with a room full of people who get it, however your family looks.

Grab your ticket now — future you (and your partner) will thank you.
