BEERWAH Barely Worn x The Seconds Grocer Collab Market

Barely Worn was founded as platform for the general community to sell their pre-loved clothes. The landfill and waste that is being generated by fast fashion is tremendously concerning and with the increasing cost of living, deciding to take action by creating an environment that would allow people to buy clothing without contributing to the growing major climate change problem we face today, while also putting money back into the pockets of local families.

The Seconds Grocer founded by Brooke Ritchie to promote buying good quality clothing for parents and kids so to hold their value and resell to keep textile waste to a minimum. 

Slow Fashion + Quality Labels: Barely Worn + The Seconds Grocer promote buying brands and labels that are ethically made.

WOMENS examples: Zulu Zephyr, SIR, Faithful, Deiji Studios, Rowie, Elce Swim, Silk Laundry, ELK, Bec + Bridge, Levi's, Charlie Holiday etc

KIDS examples: Bobo Chooses, Millk, Tiny Cottons, The Animals Observatory, Summer & Storm, Mini Rodini, Rock Your Kid, Jamie Kay, Oshkosh etc

Please do not bring fast fashion labels including; Kmart / Big W / Best & Less / SHEIN / Ally / ValleyGirl etc 

Stall Hire: $70 (if you share with a friend this is just $35 each)

Table Hire: $5

Large Stall Space: $80

This covers hire of the space, advertisement + chair, compulsory cleaning fee + public liability insurance.You can share the space with a friend, however no more than 2 persons at a stall and you will still need to stay within your stall space. You will need to bring your own racks, you can hire a table from us for $5.

The space:

Our location is completely indoors. You will be provided with a chair. Please bring clothes racks/baskets/towel rails or whichever else you would like to display everything. You set your stall up in the direction your chair is facing.

Inside Stalls: you will be approx 2.5m x 2.5m. You will fit 2x racks & 1 table in your space. If you do not have a table you can fit 3 racks.

Covered Deck Large Outdoor Stall: approx 3x3m. You can fit 4 racks and a table. maybe a bit more pending how you set it up.  

Market Day:

Set Up Time: From 7am
Official Market start time: 8am
Official Market end time: 11am
Must Exit Time: 11.30am (no later)

Location: Beerwah Community Hall - 25 Peachester Road, Beerwah
