Beeswax Candle Making Workshop 10am - 12.30am $75.00
Learn some basic candle making techniques and will walk away from this workshop with loads of knowledge and a bag full of awesome candles.
You will learn about why beeswax is so special and different from other types of waxes used for making candles, about the equipment and techniques used as well as how to troubleshoot common problems.
You will take home a couple of hand-poured moulded candles, scented votives and a rolled beeswax candle.
No prior experience is required. Due to the nature of working with hot wax in a group session participants need to be over 12 years old.

Beeswax Wraps Making Workshop 1.30pm - 4.00pm $75.00
Learn how to make your own beautiful, reusable and natural food wraps that are both a practical, attractive and reusable alternative to cling wrap.
You will make a two large, medium and small wraps to take home.
Bring in your own cotton fabric if you prefer a particular colour or design. Old shirts or other items of clothing made out of 100% cotton can make brilliant wraps.
No prior experience required. Due to the nature of working with hot wax in a group session participants need to be over 12 years old.

Instructor: Liz Cotton from Bumbalong Bees. She’s been keeping bees for a while and makes a variety of natural bee products which are sold in and around Canberra and the Snowy Monaro region.
