Beeswax Wrap Workshop

This Plastic Free July, join this workshop (in collaboration with Sustainable Queenstown & Wānaka Wastebusters) and learn how to make eco-friendly beeswax wraps. Ditch cling film and single-use plastics by crafting your own reusable, sustainable food wraps, so you can keep your food fresh while reducing waste!

4pm - 6pm

BYO fabric scraps! Cotton fabric ideal. Size suggestions:

• 20×20 cm (bowls, cheese)

• 30×30 cm (sandwiches)

• 40×40 cm (loaves of bread)

Spare fabric pieces will be available in case you forget or don’t have anything suitable.

Suitable for adults & older teens (14+). Younger children welcome but must be actively supervised by parent/guardian. Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop (including hot wax and equipment), registration is essential. This helps us keep everyone safe and make sure each participant has a chance to create their own beeswax wrap.
