    BEGINNER BURLESQUE FOR BODIES

    YOU ASKED FOR IT AND ITS FINALLY HERE!

    Join us for a 1.5 hour introductory workshop to the sparkly and fun world of burlesque!

    An artform that crosses many boundaries of the entertainment world, with it's universal aim to give people an opportunity to express themselves creatively.

    An inclusive workshop for anyone who wants to get in touch with their body and gain personal empowerment through dancing to the beat of your own drum.

    Class will cover moves and grooves to open up your sensual side! It will a fun and flirty class that includes:
    - How to walk and dance in-high heels
    - How to exude confidence and sex appeal
    - Exploring feather boa play
    - Take away 4 different glove peel techniques
    - Learn a little take away burlesque dance routine



    Instructor: SHEENA

    Sheena, Australia's Fan Dance Virtuoso, an electrifying showgirl not for the faint hearted, Sheena pushes the boundaries of tease one feather at a time.

    Known for her contemporary take on fan dancing, vintage dance tributes and the re-invention of pop culture icons, Sheena is also the producer of touring live blues and burlesque show, The Martini Lounge. Sheena is also the Creative Director of the iconic Sydney Vintage Dance Studio, offering tuition in vintage dance and the artform of burlesque.

    During her burlesque career she has performed in the London, Vancouver, Dublin, New Zealand and Texas International urlesque Festival and is an Australian favourite, performing in many Australian Burlesque Festivals since its inception.

    Sheena now loves sharing her creativity with her students, getting them involved in everything from parisian showgirl tributes to the avante garde.

    It's a Gorgeous Gosford Summer Takeover as we park our virtual caravan at the Parkhouse in Kibble park for live music, workshops from Burlesque to crafty good stuff like felting and macrame! There is fun for all ages with School holiday action as well as free community haircuts!
