Delve into the art of the European 4 in 1 chainmail pattern. Together, we will learn the chainmail basics and assemble a medieval inspired bracelet cuff.

• Ring sizes, aspect ratios, stretching directions

• How to open and close jump rings

• Creating the first chain

• Connecting two chain lengths length-way

• Creating the diamond/diagonal/triangular shapes

• Completing with lobster claw and adjustable cable chain

Who will be Teaching? 

Abbs Short (they/them) is a Melbourne/naarm creative who is passionate about mythical creatures, medieval culture and metalwork crafts. Abbs is self taught and has been creating chainmail jewellery and attire since 2023, and is always looking for different ways to incorporate it into fashion and decor.
