Beginner's Sewing Course

Welcome to the Beginners Sewing Course at Moreau Sewing Unlimited! Designed for both novices and those looking to refresh their skills, this course offers an introduction to sewing, from hand-stitching techniques to the basics of machine operation, clothing construction and alterations. Over 6 to 10 classes (on average), you will also learn essential troubleshooting of sewing machine issues. You will receive homework after every class to bring in for evaluation in your next class. Everyone learns at a different pace and style. We are committed to making sure you get everything you need to complete your Final Project: Construct a lined tote bag with a pocket.

If you do not have a sewing machine at home, you can rent one from us for $40 for the duration of the course. If you have one that needs to be serviced, our basic examination and servicing fee is $35. If extensive repairs or parts are needed, the fee will be based accordingly.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! 

Regular classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 6 - 7:30 PM. You are not obligated to attend every class day consecutively. You are allowed to reserve the days that you can commit. We have an open, rolling enrollment.

Your FIRST Beginner's class is a specially designed class to give you a foundation for the rest of the course with  students at various levels in each class. Regular FIRST BEGINNER"S CLASSES are held on Saturdays 11am - 12:30pm. If you can't attend on Saturdays, please call 513 413-6136 and schedule a time to  get you started. 

 If you pay online, the app will automatically schedule your first class at the next regularly scheduled time. If it's not on Saturday, please IGNORE, DO NOT ATTEND that date and CALL US to arrange an appropriate time for you. To avoid this glitch, you can call to reserve your First Beginner's Class and pay on site.
