Arduino Programming for Beginners (Easy Pace)
Event description
Learn the basics of building circuits and programming using Arduino.
Over 5 sessions this easy pace electronics short course will introduce members of the maker community to the basics of Arduino Programming by building and programming an Arduino robot.
This course covers the foundational skills required to utilise open-source Arduino software and hardware including:
· Identifying different electronic components
· Using a breadboard to build simple circuits
· Integration of Arduino into circuits
· Interpreting sensor data using Arduino software
· Basic C++ Programming in Arduino environment
This electronic workshop is perfect for beginners who don't have a lot of experience with computers and want to learn about electronics and programming at a slower pace.
All sessions take place on-site at Makerspace Adelaide with small class sizes and direct instruction from a makerspace volunteer, all components are supplied by Makerspace.
IMPORTANT INFO
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptop to download and use the Arduino software. If you are unable to bring your own device please advise at the time of booking, there are a limited number of computers available to use during the sessions.
This session is best suited to teens and adults, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
