Contemporary dance is a fantastic way to find balance between strength and fluidity and challenge the way in which we navigate through space. It creates an awareness of our emotional connection to movement, is a fantasic physical work out, and much much more.

During this short course, you will be introduced to some basic contemporary dance warm up exercises (which focus on giving you a greater understanding and awareness of dance technique) and learn a short choreographed routine.

Curious Mover runs regular 8 week courses throughout the year, so this is a rare opportunity to get a little taste of what the usual course has to offer!

Curious Mover courses are open to all adults 18+ , whether you have some experience or have never stepped foot in a studio before. While the class content can be challenging, it is broken down and delivered in a way that is accessible to absolute beginners.
