Beginners Feather Fan Dance with Mae de la Rue

Learn the glamorous and graceful art of the feather fan dance. Popularised by Sally Rand after her appearance at the 1933 World Fair, the feather fans have been a staple of burlesque performance ever since. Focusing on the conceal and reveal, learning feather fan dancing is akin to peek-a-boo but with your body!
Designed with beginners in mind, this 5 week course will teach you the basics of fan dancing along with a fun routine to practice. Muse School of Burlesque has a limited number of feather fans for students to use at an extra cost, or they can bring their own fans if they own a pair.
