Beginners' Half-Day Sitting at Stone Creek Zen Center
A friendly space for the Zen-curious.

If you're new to sitting meditation, want to know more about Zen, or would just like a relaxed morning retreat, this half-day retreat is a good place to start.
There will be instruction in sitting meditation (zazen) and walking meditation (kinhin), followed by alternating brief periods of zazen (15 – 20 minutes) and kinhin (10 – 15 minutes), and discussion with the teacher. Curiosity and questions are welcome. It's fine to sit on a cushion or a chair if needed.
By donation - $25 suggested. No one turned away for lack of funds.
