WasteSorted Schools and Clean Schools beginners workshop

Join us for a full day of talk about the WasteSorted Schools and Clean Schools programs and how to get started. Some of the topics that will be covered are:

• WasteSorted Schools accreditation

• Assessing your school waste

• Setting up infrastructure

• WasteSorted Schools grants

• Keep Australia Beautiful Clean Schools program

• How to run a litter campaign at your school

• Lots of examples of school projects covering both waste, recycling and litter

You will also have the opportunity to tour Port Kennedy Primary School!

It is recommended that you complete the WasteSorted Schools online learning module prior to attending this workshop: https://wssonlinelearning.wa.gov.au/

The workshop is suitable for primary and secondary school staff including teachers, principals, administration staff, gardeners and parents. The workshop is FREE and relief reimbursement is available for TWO staff (teachers, EA's and gardeners) from each school.
