Beginner Hula Hoop Course

Mondays 6-7pm
Course duration: 5 Feb - 4 March
In this 5-week course we will cover fundamental hula hoop tricks, techniques, and choreographies. As well as explore movement and dance concepts with and without the hoop.
This course is open to beginners or experienced hoopers who would like to return to the basics and finesse those fundamentals.
*Directed at Adults and Teenagers (15+)
*Class hula hoops will be provided, and you can order your own custom made hula hoop!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-A full body warm up
-Waist and body hooping drills and tips, to keep that hoop up or learn hooping on new parts of your body. We will get that heart rate up and give our core a good workout.
-Off body tricks (manipulating the hoop with our hands) working on coordination and left right brain connection.
-Movement Exploration, using dance and improvisation techniques with and without the hoop, connecting with yourself, encouraging flow, exploration and play.
-Gentle cool down stretch.
-Lots of giggles and a truly joyful way to workout!
