Behaving Badly - how can we counter toxic politics?

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Tired of political players behaving badly?

Sick of poisonous and divisive politics?

Do you appreciate the way some candidates have responded positively to the disgraceful tactics that some of our politicians deployed against their opponents? We believe that Tasmanians are increasingly seeing through this negativity and want our politicians to be respectful, inclusive and unifying.

This ‘politics in the pub’ event will explore the kinds of ways that such behaviours can be called out, countered and even turned into positives.

Our speakers, Kate Kelly, Clare Glade-Wright, Dr Zelinda Sherlock, Michael Roberts and Steve Saunders have real-life experience of being targeted and rising above it. This will be an inspiring and dynamic event; not to be missed if you care about building positive, respectful democratic leaders right here in Tasmania.

The event will be a talks + Question & Answer format. If you want to ask a question; please register it direct with us via: admin@circlemindset.com.

Spaces are limited to 70. So BOOK NOW to avoid missing out, and please share this with your network. It's a low-cost event raising funds to foster more positive participatory democracy in Tassie, for Tassie, by Tassies across the state.
