Behaviour Change for Environmental Volunteers - Manor Lakes

Join us in this free interactive workshop, facilitated by BehaviourWorks Australia, which provides an introduction to behaviour change techniques and how to apply them in your community waterway projects. 

Through practical, hands-on exercises, you will explore behavioural barriers, diagnostic tools, intervention strategies, and evaluation methods, equipping you with the skills to drive impactful projects in your local area! 🙌

By the end of the session, you will have a stronger understanding of how to design and implement behaviour change initiatives, for recruiting new volunteers, reducing litter and improving environmental outcomes for your local waterway. 

What to expect: 

🧠 Learn to define and prioritise behaviours for improving waterway health and identify key barriers and enablers for pro-environmental behaviours. 

💧 Gain practical, ready-to-use tools and templates for use in your waterway projects and initiatives.

• All workshop materials will be provided including a ‘Behaviour Change Workbook’ for you to keep containing material covered during the workshop.

• Please arrive at 9:50am for a prompt start at 10am.

• Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre is accessible by public transport. Wyndham Vale Train Station is 700m walk and bus 191 stops 50m from the centre (Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre/Manor Lakes Bvd stop). Onsite parking is available, including two accessible parking spots.

• Workshop agenda will be sent out prior to the event.
