Behind the Crime with Paul Litherland OAM

What really happens behind the scenes of a major crime investigation? And what can we learn from the cases that have made headlines?

Former WA Police Officer Paul Litherland OAM spent 20 years involved in some of this state's most high-profile crimes. With the last 6 years of his career spent within Technology Crime, Paul worked at the forefront of the massive rise in online crime both here and overseas.

For almost three decades, Paul has played a key role in helping drive positive change in the response to serious crime, both in Australia and internationally. His dedication and commitment to education and awareness culminated in him being named the 2022 WA Australian of the Year and receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia.

Paul will take you behind the scenes of serious and online crime, sharing fascinating insights into how these crimes were committed, how investigations unfolded, and the impact on the victims and their families.
