Behind the Lens

Designed for media students in years 10-12, the Ballarat Tech School’s new program takes students ‘behind the lens’ of professional filmmaking. Participants of the program will learn the skills needed to produce short films whilst working in a team environment and meeting other like-minded students. These skills will be invaluable to students as they complete their unit 2 or unit 4 media assessments.

The program will also expose participants to high end equipment such as professional cameras and audio recording gear, allowing them to gain knowledge and feedback from industry professionals.  

The program will run on Mondays 4-6pm for 8 weeks on the following dates:

• 22nd July
• 29th July
• 5th August
• 12th August
• 19th August
• 26th August
• 2nd September
• 9th September

Note: Due to the nature of the program, students must give photo permission to participate
