Behind the scenes at Isaac Theatre Royal

The Isaac Theatre Royal is a heritage building in the heart of Christchurch. Originally built in 1908, this iconic building suffered severe damage in the 2011 earthquakes. After extensive work and the use of salvaged heritage pieces, it has been reinstated to it's original glory and is the only operational Edwardian style theatre remaining in NZ. NAWIC have been given the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour of this historic building. Come along and discover more about this fascinating piece of Christchurch history.
We will kick off the event with a drink and some nibbles at Gin Gin, then head across to Isaac Theatre for the tour.
