Behind the Stalls: A tour of Coburg Farmers' Market & its Producers

Celebrate Urban Agriculture Month with a free walking tour of Coburg Farmers' Market! Expect to meet some of our famous farmers and producers, free tasters, and learn about all that it takes to put together the farmers' market each week and why we do it! 

Meet your local Victorian farmers and small-scale producers, discover what's in season, and see how seasonality influences flavour and price. We'll be chatting low waste growing, farmers as price takers, the complexities of farming, and you'll be introduced to some awesome varieties of veg & plants that you may have never met before! The Coburg Farmers' Market tour will showcase the diversity of our stallholders and (of course) include a few tasters along the way.

We'll have a bit of time for lunch after on our beautiful oval listening to our musician. Come meet your community at the Coburg market! 

Date & Time

We’ll meet at the front entrance to Coburg Farmers' Market (found on Urquhart St). Please arrive 5 minutes early so that we can start the tour on time.
