A free, practical session for current and future volunteer treasurers - and for small community groups who want to feel more confident looking after their money.

Whether you’re already the treasurer, thinking about taking on the role, supporting someone else who does it, or helping run a small charity, club, society, or community group, this session is designed to make the money side feel clearer and more manageable.

We’ll talk about what makes a treasurer role work well, why the role is often harder than it should be, and simple habits that can make things easier for both the treasurer and the wider committee.

You’ll leave with a simple checklist and one practical next step for your group.

No accounting background needed. Come with your questions.

Here's what others have said after attending Being a Good Treasurer:

This was a really helpful free webinar to attend. Really clear breakdown of the treasurer role and reporting - the report template will be really useful.
I loved the concept of financial reporting being about telling your organisation's money story, this is a really great way of simplifying the concept and making it less scary.
I really liked the opportunity to see what other questions people in other NFPs had regarding this role, I also really liked the checklists and systematic way that we went through the role, it was an excellent resource thank you.
I think it's a hugely valuable workshop and I have shared it with others who might find it useful.

Big thanks to Rainbow Hub Waikato for offering their venue!
