‘Being with what is’ by Bri Horne

Session Times: Multiple sessions between sunrise and sunset. Three spots available for each session time.

First Session Time: 7:30am

Last Session Time: 4:30pm

Session Duration: 30 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early for a prompt start time.

Location: In the Pines forest in Shoreham, on Bunurong and Boon Wurrung Country.

Parking: Please park at the end of Cliff Road, Shoreham, 3916. You will be greeted by someone at the beginning of the path.

Description

A participatory live art project, ‘Being with what is’ holds space for stillness, reflection, and acceptance. It is a call to sit in nature and mark a moment of presence using the automatic film camera provided. Then, step in front of the camera, allowing the artist, Bri Horne, to capture a portrait and the feelings stirred. Both photographs will be part of an installation staged at a later date.

More Details

This site specific live art project is outdoors, in nature. There is a short 5 minute journey from the carpark to the ‘sit spots’. Please dress appropriately for the weather and choose comfortable footwear.

By booking your place, you consent to your image being taken and exhibited, and you consent to the photograph you capture being printed and exhibited.
