You did “all the right things” you were told would bring happily ever after… then somewhere in the daily juggle, you lost touch with yourself.

For some it’s a slow erosion. For others it lands abruptly - a shift in the body that brings a shift in the emotions too. Either way, the feeling dwells and becomes charged: a simmering funk you can’t name, or frustration, resentment, even downright rage.

You’ve tried the practices that are “supposed” to soothe you. The effects are momentary, if they come at all.

What you’re really looking for is a way to meet that energy - to move it, understand it, and let it lead you somewhere true.

Meet your Inner Critic

So much of what keeps women stuck isn’t the anger itself, it’s the Inner Critic that follows right behind it, insisting you shouldn’t feel this way, that you should be coping better. “If only you could be more calm, more put together, more perfect, you’d be fine.”

Self-criticism is how anger turns inward and becomes suppressed. It’s exhausting!

Left unchecked, the Inner Critic becomes the filter through which you hold back on your own life: doubting your decisions, silencing your voice, managing everyone else’s comfort before your own. This is where “Good Girl Syndrome” takes root.

In 'Being Woman Enough', you’ll learn to make self-compassion your ally - softening the inner voice that mistook harshness for motivation.

The 'Being Woman Enough' Workshop

In this rich, dynamic and insightful 3-hour workshop, Beth Milner and Sensei Sheryn Gung introduce a powerful combination: self-compassion (the Inner Nurturer) and Transformational Self-Defence and Martial Arts, TSDMA (the Inner Warrior) - and how together they support emotional healing.

You’ll learn:

• The 3 components of Self-Compassion: Mindfulness, Kindness, Connection

• Strategies for loosening the grip of your Inner Critic

• The 3 Pillars of TSDMA

• 3 TSDMA strategies — Voice Activation, Instinctive Movement, and a Martial Art Strategy — practised solo and with a partner

01 — Inner Critic, Inner Nurturer, Inner Warrior. Begin with grounding and meditation to meet your loving Inner Nurturer, then explore the role of the Inner Critic (those self-limiting thoughts of not being good enough) and how the Inner Warrior draws on that same protective force... with very different outcomes.

02 — Shift Critic into Nurturer. Beth guides a process-oriented inquiry to transform your Shaming Witness into your Compassionate Witness, with journalling in the 'Being Woman Enough' Workbook (included).

03 — The 4 Obstacles Keeping You Stuck. We examine what keeps women small, stuck, or “failing” at anger-soothing strategies that were never going to work, and how to break through them to own and love all parts of yourself.

04 — Unleash Your Voice. Voice Activation is healing and empowering, especially if you’re recovering from “Good Girl Syndrome.” Sensei Sheryn shares the power of “No!” and other battle cries for real-life self-defence and for healing.

05 — TSDMA in Practice. Healing through martial arts is an age old (if little understood and appreciated) concept. Practice instinctive, somatic techniques solo and with partners. Learn TSDMA techniques and their psychological and Traditional East Asian Medicine correlations - and progress to actual self-defence, and learn a real self-defence disengagement technique.

You’ll leave grounded, calm, kinder to yourself, and more connected to the power of being enough.
