Believe & Leo Marland Quartet

In the world of jazz, quartets hold a special place. Whereas trios are often orbit around a key soloist and bandleader, quartets hold a different gravity. Relationships between players are more diverse, the role of the foil becomes vital, and compositional or structural dynamics are revealed.
